Adventurous, quick-thinking and always first to reach for a mysterious door handle.
Some doors are better left uncounted
Bob and Mary live with Mum and Dad in an enormous, slightly crooked old house. It has three floors, two staircases and rather more doors than anyone can agree on.
One night, Dad tells them the house looks after everyone who lives there. A strange noise sends Mary into the corridor, with a reluctant Bob close behind.
Mary has a plan: go from room to room and count every door they pass. That is the start of the problems.
